Butterfly Girl – Bicentennial Park — September 2020

Best day of the Fall, so far. We had soaking rains that felt very tropical the last few days, but today is cool and crisp. I was walking in Bicentennial Park and thought this young lady captured the loveliness of the day. As I was leaving, a grandmother and her toddler grandson were walking toward me. I gave them a little space to get by and she said, “We love the butterfly girl, too. She is one of our favorites. We come here a lot and call this butterfly park!”

I asked the young man if he was going to catch some butterflies, as well; and he just looked up at me and smiled. Good enough.
