Colonial Gardens With Pasture — May 2019
Williamsburg has an in built way to look at time differently, and it is a gift. Anyone can walk through Colonial Williamsburg and look at a scene like the one above. Early in the morning, or late in the afternoon, when it is quiet, you can be part of a space — the gardens, the pastures with animals, and the houses — that reflects another time in another era with a different pace. Cell phones can be turned off, the only traffic heard comes from horses hooves, and you can stand or sit and take a moment, looking out and asking yourself, “What year is this?”
