Yorktown Onion Colonial Parkway — June, 2015
Do you know what a Yorktown Onion is?
My good friend, Vicki, asked me that question about a year ago. She went on to say, “You know, those poodle tail things that grow on the Colonial Parkway between Yorktown and Williamsburg in early Summer. I have seen them all my life, and I wait for every June to see them. I love those blossoms.”
I can see why.

Love the bee on the Yorktown onion!
Quite a bee in your bonnet to have inspired that lovely painting.
Thanks Ann. We try to share the creativity, each in our own medium.
